What is IQ?

Intelligence Quotient (IQ) is a standardised measure of cognitive abilities assessing logical reasoning, working memory, verbal aptitude, and processing speed. IQ is normed on a bell curve with a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15 — approximately 68% of the population scores between 85 and 115. IQ is not a fixed or complete measure of intelligence — it captures specific cognitive dimensions but does not reflect creativity, emotional intelligence, or practical talents.

How the score is calculated

Our test measures 4 cognitive dimensions: visuo-spatial reasoning (Raven progressive matrices), verbal aptitude (analogies and vocabulary), numerical reasoning (logical sequences and mental arithmetic), and spatial reasoning (3D mental rotation).
