I can bend my thumb back to touch my wrist or forearm without pain or effort
My fingers bend back further than normal and others have noticed how flexible my hands are
When I straighten my elbows or knees fully, they go past a straight line (hyperextension)
I can place my palms flat on the floor with straight legs when bending forward at the hips
My joints click, pop, or shift out of place regularly during ordinary activities
I experience joint pain or instability after physical activity others find mild
I have been unusually flexible since childhood - splits or unusual positions came easily
I have sprained joints or had minor dislocations more often than most people
My hips, shoulders, or jaw shift or feel unstable, causing me to adjust my posture constantly
A doctor or physiotherapist has told me I have hypermobile joints, or I suspect it from experience
I experience fatigue disproportionate to my activity level - exhausted after ordinary daily tasks
I experience widespread or migratory pain in muscles, joints, or soft tissues
I feel dizzy, lightheaded, or faint when I stand up quickly, stand for long periods, or in warm environments
My heart rate increases noticeably when I stand or move from sitting/lying (palpitations, racing heart)
My skin is unusually soft, stretchy, or fragile - bruises easily, heals slowly, leaves visible scars
I have difficulty knowing where my body is in space - clumsy, misjudging distances, bumping into things
I experience GI symptoms regularly: bloating, nausea, irritable bowel, or difficulty swallowing
I have difficulty regulating body temperature - overheat easily, feel cold when others are comfortable, or sweat excessively
I experience significant brain fog, poor concentration, or memory difficulties not explained by sleep alone
I notice strong reactions to sounds, lights, textures, smells, or pain that others seem not to notice
